Provisional: this document is not approved yet

Everything below is a draft. It becomes the studio's approved position only when every administrator has signed this exact version in the client area. Until then, read it as an accurate description of what we do and intend, not as a document anybody has signed off.

Written in-house, not reviewed by a lawyer, and no Maltese entity exists yet to be a party to it. What approval means here

We aim at WCAG 2.2 level AA for this website. We have not had it audited by anybody outside the team, so what follows is our own assessment and should be read as such.

This website

WhatState
KeyboardEvery link and control on the site is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
StructureOne h1 per page, headings in order, landmarks for the header, the navigation, the main content and the footer.
ColourText and interface colours are held to a contrast floor by an automated check, in both the light and dark themes.
MotionNothing on these pages animates on load, and the system's reduced-motion setting is respected everywhere.
Zoom and reflowPages reflow to a single column at phone width and do not scroll sideways. Wide tables scroll inside their own container rather than pushing the page.
TextNo text is baked into an image on these pages.

Known failures

Three, and we know about them

  • The age confirmation does not trap focus. It is announced as a dialog and it blocks the page visually, but a keyboard user can tab past it into content behind it. It is on the list.
  • No audit by anybody outside the team. Everything above is our own testing. An automated contrast check is not an accessibility audit.
  • The game demos are not accessible. See below.

The games

A slot game is a hard surface to make accessible. What is built: the interface respects the system's reduced-motion setting throughout, every palette pair in every theme of every skin is held to a contrast floor by a check that fails the build, and the compliance readouts a market requires are text rather than pictures.

What is not: the games are not usable with a screen reader, and the board is a visual surface with no non-visual equivalent. That is a real limitation.
